Biography  

Kiely Alexis Williams was born July 9, 1986 in Alexandria, Virginia, but later moved to Northern New Jersey just a few months later. She was just five years old when she got her first taste of show business, acting in a network TV pilot produced by Robert DeNiro and starring Lawrence Fishburne. It came as no surprise to Kiely's parents when she first expressed an interest in singing.

From her earliest years, Kiely remembers hearing music in her home. "My mom managed recording artists and had a recording studio in our home. I remember whenever there was a session going on, I would sneak a peek, listening and learning." Surprisingly for one her age, Kiely cites Fleetwood Mac and the Steve Miller Band as two of her all-time favorite artists. "I always listened to the music my sister played, and that's how I got into them. Groups like TLC have mad energy and showmanship. They are more like role models and an inspiration to me. They gave me the idea that if they could do it, I could do it too."

3LW was created in 1999 by Kiely's desire to pursue her dreams in music. Candance was the very first third member of 3LW, but Naturi replaced her months later. The group were going to be called "Little Women" but the name was already taken. So Michele Williams named them 3LW (Three little Women) with the letters to avoid legal disputes. The girls was then in 9-month training for the debut album.

3LW wrote a handful of songs for other artists such as Ciara. Their self-titled debut "3LW" was released in 2000 and went double platinum! A week before the release of their 2nd album "A Girl Can Mack" Naturi Naughton left the group. The members of 3LW now include Adrienne Bailon, Kiely Williams, and Jessica Benson. 3LW are currently preparing for the release of their 3rd album "Point of No Return."

Kiely Williams stars in the Disney Channel's orginal movie "The Cheetah Girls" following a soundtrack in 2003. Later with Sabrina Bryan & Adrienne Bailon releasing a christmas album intitled "Cheetah-licious Christmas" in 2005. Heading on tour with the big responses it was then that The Cheetah Girls wanted to become a real girls group.

The Cheetah Girls 2: When In Spain was released in August 2006 with a soundtrack and another tour. The Cheetah Girls are a non-stop phenominal group with now merchandise for any little cheetah fan. The Cheetah Girls [TCG] has a self-titled album called "TCG" released September 25th, 2007 in thanks for the fans supporting them. Releasing their singles "So, Bring It on" & "Fuego" hitting the charts they are definatley on fire!
